*House to house screening completed in Saket* In the third week of June, we at Alert Citizens Forum had written to TMC that following the 'Tracing, testing and treatment' triology, a house to house screening for Covid suspects was extremely important and necessary. We told them that the same should be done in Housing Societies also and not just slums. Our Corporator Suhas Desai agreed and we met Asst Commissioner of TMC Shankar Patole. He too gave his consent and around June 28, house to house screening started in Saket. As getting the work done was necessary, we remained in the background and just monitored progress every day. Today, one month later, we are pleased to inform that house to house screening has been completed in Saket and the shops in Shopping Centre and also the security and bhajiwala's.
