LRT SYSTEM for   Thane proposed by R A Rajeev..( Dainik Jagran reporter Anamika More reports) For the past four months, TMC Commissioner RA Rajeev and his team have been weighing the pros and cons of introducing the tram in the congested city. Surprisingly, the former seems to have outweighed the latter. Four months of research by Rajiv and his team have led to the conclusion that TRAM LRT (light rail transit) can improve the life of Thaneities.
