Mrs Rawal, Mrs Shetty and Mrs Hule shall co-ordinate the signature campaign.
5. Request to Repair Society's Internal Roads.
Mrs Hema Shetty and Mrs Rawal suggested that the ALM should take initiative in getting Society's. Internal Roads repaired as they are in shambles.
Mr Dayanand Nene struck down the suggestion by stating that it was outside the purview of the ALM and the ALM should not enter in to areas which shall overlap with the Society MC.
He informed that financing the zero garbage project was an exception as apart from the overall benefit to society, it wud help boost Milind Patankar's image as a socially aware Corporator - in fact the only one in Thane to implement such a project from his funds.
Also, now in an Election year, he will have to carefully chose projects to fund and financing internal roads of a Pvt Society can cause him problems.
6. Mrs Rawal brought to the notice that Rustomjee has started some work on the plot adjacent to the Children's Park.
Milind Patankar agreed to look in the matter and revert.
Mr. Dilip Kankale proposed the vote of thanks and meeting ended.
Regards,
Dayanand Nene
