Saket Parisar Advanced Locality Management ( ALM ) 



Dear Saketians, 

 This is to keep you updated regarding the latest on Saket Parisar beautification. 

 1. Phase 3 of Saket Parisar beautification project has started with the triangular spot opposite A4-6 being developed as a green spot. 
 2. A new botanical garden will be developed before monsoons starting from the area opp. B1 gate - where hutments were there. 3. The 'Zero Garbage' project developed near A 3 gate - behind the Security box is ready. This project, developed with the funds of our Corporator Milind Patankar, shall be inaugurated on Sunday, April 24th, at 10.30 am. 
 4. 15 lights have been installed in the Children's Park and they also shall be activated from Sunday. 
 5. A nursery of variety of plants shall be developed in half the portion of Nana Nani Park very soon. 
 6. As informed to you seperately, we are registering our ALM as a ' Society ' under the Societies Act of 1860, with the Charity Commissioner's office. 
Our's will be the first regd. ALM in Thane. The list of initial office bearers is being finalised and a membership drive is planned from May 1st, 2011. 
 7. We are also planning to do 'bhoomi pujan' of the Community Hall project on May 1st, 2011. Mr Sanjay Kelkar, MLC has consented to build this Community Hall thru' his funds for our ALM. All these are now public commitments and we shall make them happen. 

We request all Saketians to join hands in our endeavours.

Society cannot charge or demand money / donation for the Cultural/Festival Expenses from their members/residents.

23/10/2017 Dear Saketians, Read the following carefully. It is going to have a impact on our society from now on. Post the 2014 amendments to the byelaws, Society cannot charge or demand money / donation for the Cultural/Festival Expenses from their members/residents.  The Society cannot implement such Resolution in AGM / SGM and put burden of contributing any money on all the members including the members who are not interested to participate, even though such Resolutions are passed. For Social, Cultural or Recreational activities; Society should use the Reserve Fund as described in Byelaw 147(b)iii, iv and utilise it as indicated in Byelaw 5(d).
