Sub: Request to stop movement of Heavy vehicles thru Saket Complex premises.

This is a fervent appeal on behalf of residents of Saket Complex.
Our submission is as under:
1) Saket Complex is a small township of 24 buildings and 3 Towers and is situated adjoining the Nasik Highway /Bhiwandi bypass.
2) There are 2 approach roads to the complex - one from Kalwa bridge to Balkum Road, which is a very busy road and other is a small service road from the Mahalaxmi Temple in the complex leading to the Highway (going to Mumbai side).
3) This service road is essentially meant for small vehicles only.
4) There is a Nana Nani Park and a Children's Park on one side and complex buildings on the other side of this service road. Both parks are used by Senior Citizens and Children of the complex daily.
5) However, since the past week the police stationed near the Mahalaxmi Temple have been diverting all traffic coming from Balkum and Kalwa Bridge to this road. 
6) The traffic includes trucks, trailers, company buses and water tankers.
7) This movement is causing great discomfort to the residents of the complex, esp. Senior Citizens and Ladies and Children.
8) The sudden diversion of such traffic leads to congestion, constant honking and their rash driving is a threat to the lives of people - especially the children who frequent the Children's Park- in the complex.
9) We requested the police deployed there to stop the movement but they expressed their helplessness in the matter.
In view of the above, we request you to kindly stop this movement through Saket Complex immediately and give respite to our residents.

Society cannot charge or demand money / donation for the Cultural/Festival Expenses from their members/residents.

23/10/2017 Dear Saketians, Read the following carefully. It is going to have a impact on our society from now on. Post the 2014 amendments to the byelaws, Society cannot charge or demand money / donation for the Cultural/Festival Expenses from their members/residents.  The Society cannot implement such Resolution in AGM / SGM and put burden of contributing any money on all the members including the members who are not interested to participate, even though such Resolutions are passed.
