Dear Saketians,

In the past, many times I have been informing you all of the efforts we were making to get OC.
Letters, petitions, suggestions, meetings, request, pressure - we tried everything.
Finally, some time back, I informed you that TMC had now decided to give us OC on us fulfilling certain requirements.
It is said that the taste of the pudding is in its eating...
So here is something good for you ðŸ˜Š
You all have received your Property Tax bill for the year 2016-17.
Have a good look at it and you will find a remark - wapar parvana ahey - meaning OC is granted.
So now don't worry. Be rest assured.
Let the process started get over. Pay the penalty when demanded and you will get the OC.
Word of Caution ⚠
1) This remark by the TMC on the Property tax bill shows its intention to give OC. As the bill is generated in May, the remark was put as already we as a society had applied for OC last year (by old committee) and the process was started.
2) This remark doesn't mean that any member can avoid the penalty which TMC may levy because if you don't pay then next year your property tax bill will come with a remark that OC not given.
3) The property tax bills are flat wise. Our latest application forms submitted to TMC this month are also flat wise and OC will also be given flat wise. TMC has full data with it so no member should try and avoid the penalty for OC.
4) Till the process is completed, this year's Property tax bill will help property transactions in Saket as now on a query regarding OC by financial institutions, buyers can show this bill...

Society cannot charge or demand money / donation for the Cultural/Festival Expenses from their members/residents.

23/10/2017 Dear Saketians, Read the following carefully. It is going to have a impact on our society from now on. Post the 2014 amendments to the byelaws, Society cannot charge or demand money / donation for the Cultural/Festival Expenses from their members/residents.  The Society cannot implement such Resolution in AGM / SGM and put burden of contributing any money on all the members including the members who are not interested to participate, even though such Resolutions are passed.
