Dear Sir,

Apropos the above subject, my submission to you is as under:

1) The subject about giving Occupation Certificate to Saket CHSL is not a new one. For the past many years we have been following up with the TMC for the same.
2) Our application from 672 members of the Society, under the Amnesty scheme, is also pending with the Corporation since May 2016.
3) We have been following up with the TMC regarding the same but have been told that as our original approved plans are not there, OC can't be granted.
4) In the past whenever we have requested the Corporation for a copy of our approved plans, we have received replies in writing from the TMC that it does not have Saket's plans and papers as the same have been taken away by ACB 17 years ago.
5) On this background, our local Corporator Shri Suhas Desai had raised the question in the TMC Mahasabha 
(monthly General Body meeting) dated July 20, 2017, as to whether or not, Saket can be / will be given OC ?
6) Replying to the question, the ADTP had answered that (Quote) : as per item no. 4 of the preamble ( गोषवारा), if original approved plans are not available then we can take the plans which are available with the Corporation and give OC. The same can be done for the Society you are mentioning.(Unquote).

( I have attached a copy of page no. 75 of the minutes of the said Mahasabha - in which this question/ answer is there - for your perusal).

7) As per the reply given by the ADTP in the Mahasabha, the Corporation has a copy of our approved plans and can give OC to us.
8) What is stopping TMC from doing the same? If we can be given OC, the TMC officials should have at least done the survey of the flats and/ or raised the necessary bills on members - but nothing has happened.
9) And in that case why has the Corporation replied us to our RTI queries that ACB has taken away our papers and the Corporation doesn't have any papers pertaining to Saket.
( In fact, based on that reply, I have requested the Corporation to reconstruct our VP file - that letter is also pending with TMC).

We request you to please look into this matter and give necessary instructions to the concerned to speed up the matter and give OC to our Saket complex.

Society cannot charge or demand money / donation for the Cultural/Festival Expenses from their members/residents.

23/10/2017 Dear Saketians, Read the following carefully. It is going to have a impact on our society from now on. Post the 2014 amendments to the byelaws, Society cannot charge or demand money / donation for the Cultural/Festival Expenses from their members/residents.  The Society cannot implement such Resolution in AGM / SGM and put burden of contributing any money on all the members including the members who are not interested to participate, even though such Resolutions are passed.
