Letters and representations to Dy. Registrar Thane City

July 7, 2019

Dear Saketians,

CC: The Dy Registrar of Co-op Societies,
Thane City.

Sub:SGM and the illegal decisions taken
- yet another illegal decision taken. Add this to the long list given to you.

Just learnt that the society management once again overstepped its brief in the today's SGM and added things not on the agenda and more apalling was members passed it.
Today's agenda was to decide on continuing contribution of RS.3/- for Repairs.
We should have concluded the meeting after that.
In SGM, one cant add anything else to the agenda. It is ultra vires and illegal.
I must have told this atleast 50 times so far.
So the decision to break Sinking Fund upto 50 lakhs is ultra vires and illegal.
The General Body also had no authority to take it up and foolishly adopt it.
I will not let you all implement the decision.
Mind you, governance is a serious subject that is to be done with in the frame work of law.
Everything happening in the society is either wrong or illegal.
Another bizarre thing I heard was regarding the advise of non complying with GST.
Please give me the video recording of the meeting.
I will see that the great people advising the society are dealt sternly by the law.
Remember, one can be arrested for tax evasion.
Better stay away from such foolish people who give stupid advise.

Regards,
Dayanand Nene
