My rights as a Managing Committee member - in connection with the stupid behaviour of some Committee members.

Dear Sirs,
As per the MCS Act and model byelaws of the society, members of a cooperative housing society elect from amongst them, some people on the Managing Committee.
The Managing Committee is collectively responsible to run the affairs of the society.
All Managing Committee members have equal rights and responsibilities. Nobody is superior or inferior.
For convenience, members of the Managing Committee elect from amongst themselves, 3 members to be the Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer of the society.
These 3 people have additional powers than other members of the Managing Committee  - they have the right to sign cheques and other documents on behalf of society.
Other posts in the MC are mostly decorative in nature and have no legal sanction.
I am detailing this because some idiots have been gossiping about my coming to society office and even scrutinising records of the society.
These idiots have been mentally harassing the two lady staff since past 2 years on this subject – taunting, alleging, harassing and abusing them.
These idiots should understand that all Managing Committee members have the right to attend society office every day and even access records.
Not even the Office bearers can stop them as long as they do so in the society office premises.
They should realize that the #MeToo movement is gaining currency in the country.
Time has gone when people used to ill treat women and get away.
Today, one complaint by the ladies staff and the game is over for the culprit.

Dear Neneji,

This is  very  unfortunate    future of society is not in safe hand  .  Not only  commit members   even   all members  have  100% legal rights  to  access   documents   pertaining   to  business /functionality   of  society  . Denying   such   access   is a criminal  offence  leading to suspicious in  books of account .     

We should  evaluate  possibility of dissolution   committee  and I will stand with you.

Through this mail  I am requesting  to the Secretary   to provide  copy of complaint received from lady staff  if any .   Please  note that I am entitle to get copy of  complaint   and you   can not deny me as I   am share holders  of society  . Being  a share holder  I am also one of the owner of society ,  have  all legal rights to access such documents . If unfortunately   legal case happened  committee  will spending   my  money  ( Which I am paying  under different  head  to society ) in legal case  not the money  from their own pocket . if they spend   mony from their pocket certainly such incident  must not happened .

Such attitude can never be tolerated  ( Similar line of thinking    by  joint secretary earlier with  respect to parking place  .JFYI  so fat i have not received reply to my advocate notice related to parking  issue .)

Society cannot charge or demand money / donation for the Cultural/Festival Expenses from their members/residents.

23/10/2017 Dear Saketians, Read the following carefully. It is going to have a impact on our society from now on. Post the 2014 amendments to the byelaws, Society cannot charge or demand money / donation for the Cultural/Festival Expenses from their members/residents.  The Society cannot implement such Resolution in AGM / SGM and put burden of contributing any money on all the members including the members who are not interested to participate, even though such Resolutions are passed. For Social, Cultural or Recreational activities; Society should use the Reserve Fund as described in Byelaw 147(b)iii, iv and utilise it as indicated in Byelaw 5(d).
