APPEAL TO ALL MEMBERS 

Dear Saketians,

As aware we have been making huge contribution for capital repairs for last 5 yrs (My contribution 1860X 60=111600 for 620 sq ft flat.. calculate your own).  However the work still not completed and present MC continues to demand more and more funds in the Name of capital repairs which indicates they have been spending our hard earn savings haphazardly with an open end budget with no time limit and no concrete plan of total cost estimate to complete entire project,  funds collected,  funds needed, how much they will recover from defaulters,  what strict  legal actions initiated for recovery of old dues (43 lacs) from defaulters and what internal actions taken to stop their  maintenance services which they are enjoying free at our cost. Now Rs 50 lacs is being asked to take from contingency fund but no account given of all earlier such withdrawal whether put back or not  from our ongoing capital repairs contribution. Now atleast we can put a bar on them such as Recovery from cronic defalturs.. ( around 43 lacs ).. atleast recover minimum of 60% from  chronic defaulters and only than may be permitted to withdraw difference amount from sinking fund. 

Therefore it will be in the interest if all residents to be present in AGM and not allow approval of audited accounts unless all queries are satisfied and also not approve any capital exp budget if proper close end plan is not presented by MC  including modification of all entry gates on priority.

Further to members:

Members Pl note if you don't attend AGM MC will again get free hand to take approvals in AGM through their limited majority supporters and we will be fooled to keep contributing without having any say or recognition as society member. Hence pl take it seriously to be present at AGM

Society cannot charge or demand money / donation for the Cultural/Festival Expenses from their members/residents.

23/10/2017 Dear Saketians, Read the following carefully. It is going to have a impact on our society from now on. Post the 2014 amendments to the byelaws, Society cannot charge or demand money / donation for the Cultural/Festival Expenses from their members/residents.  The Society cannot implement such Resolution in AGM / SGM and put burden of contributing any money on all the members including the members who are not interested to participate, even though such Resolutions are passed. For Social, Cultural or Recreational activities; Society should use the Reserve Fund as described in Byelaw 147(b)iii, iv and utilise it as indicated in Byelaw 5(d).
